Track your Development Application
Greater Hume Shire Council’s Application Tracking Facility is an interactive web based program that enables users to undertake a range of searches in relation to development applications that have been considered by Council. The facility uses include identifying applications that have been recently lodged and allowing applicants to follow the progress of their application through the development assessment process.
Electronic Housing Code
An interactive tool that enables enquiries to be made as to whether development is exempt or complying development under the State Environmental Planning Policy Exempt and Complying Development Codes 2008 for a specific property.

Fire Safety Statement Information
The following certificates are provided:
State Environmental Planning Policy 1 Register - Clause 4.6 of the Greater Hume Local Environment Plan (GHLEP).
Council is required to have a register of Development Applications that were determined by Council utilising the provisions of State Environmental Planning Policy No. 1 (SEPP 1) or clause 4.6 of the GHLEP.

Local Heritage Assistance Fund
Greater Hume Shire Council wishes to advise that applications for grants under the Local Heritage Restoration Fund for Year 3 are now open. Grants of up to $2,000, to be matched $1 for $1 are available for restoration/improvement work on listed heritage items or elements in Conservation Areas or other buildings or places as assessed being of heritage significance. Application forms are available from Council Offices, or by clicking here.

The Greater Hume Local Environment Plan 2012 commenced on the 12 October 2012 and is available by clicking upon following link.

Development Contributions Plan
Application of this Development Contributions Plan
The Development Contributions Plan applies to all land within the local government area of Greater Hume Shire.
The purpose of this contributions plan
The primary purpose of the Development Contributions Plan is:
- to authorise the imposition of a condition on all development consents and complying development certificates requiring the payment of a contribution pursuant to section 94A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act);
- to assist the Greater Hume Shire Council (“council”) in providing the appropriate public facilities that are required to maintain and enhance amenity and service delivery within the Greater Hume local government area; and
- to publicly identify the purposes for which the levies are required.
