Holbrook Industrial Estate Launched

The Holbrook Industrial Estate has been officially launched by Mayor Denise Osborne, Greater Hume Shire Council. The Mayor said that the estate is strategically located close to the new Hume Highway bypass of Holbrook, enabling easy access to and from the highway for new businesses choosing to locate to the estate.

Australia Day Celebrations and Ambassador at Woomargama

Come Celebrate Australia Day in Greater Hume Shire


Each year Greater Hume Shire holds its Australia Day Celebration in a different town or village. In 2012 the focus will be on the community of Woomargama.


Cr Denise Osborne GHSC Mayor said, the celebrations will be held at the Woomargama Hall, Woomargama commencing with a free breakfast from 8.00 am prepared by Woomargama Bush Fire Brigade and Holbrook SES and sponsored by Council.


This will be followed by the formal proceedings of the day from 9.00 am, including the address by arguably the finest women’s water polo player that Australia has produced, Debbie Watson OAM.
