CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS – SHOULDERS CLOSED, WALBUNDRIE ALMA PARK RD

Council wishes to advise motorists of changed traffic conditions on the Walbundrie Alma Park Road from the Walbundrie Intersection to Reynella Road.

Shoulder grading has been conducted recently and due to the prevailing weather conditions the shoulders are closed as they may be soft and boggy.

New Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Greater Hume Council

Congratulations to Greater Hume Council’s newly elected Mayor, Cr Lea Parker and Deputy Mayor, Cr Ben Hooper.

The first Greater Hume Council meeting was held last night, Wednesday, 9 October, 2024 since the Council elections on 14 September 2024. Newly elected Councillors, Cr Ben Hooper, Cr Brian Liston and Cr Kerry Morton were welcomed to their first Council meeting.

Council takes this opportunity to thank our outgoing Mayor, Cr Tony Quinn and Deputy Mayor, Cr Annette Schilg for their leadership during their tenure.

Councillors were required to take an oath, before the commencement of the Council meeting where the election of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and appointments of Delegates occurred along with general business.
