Easy To Do Business Program
Greater Hume Council is a member of the Easy to Do Business Program, which concentrates on cutting red tape for start-up cafes, restaurants and bars to reduce the time it takes to start from 18 months to just 3 months.

AusIndustry comes under the Commonwealth’s Department of Industry Innovation and Science. It is the government’s chief conduit to business for more than 20 years.
AusIndustry provide programs, services and advice to help businesses of all sectors and sizes to run, innovate and grow. AusIndustry has programs to improve capability, productivity and competitiveness and to encourage innovation and R & D. AusIndustry also delivers Commonwealth Government Grants.
