FARM BUSINESS MANAGEMENT – LOOKING DEEPER FOR PROFIT AND PRODUCTION - HOLBROOK

Farm Business Management is an essential part of any farm business. In 2023 the Basics were covered. Now it’s time to dig a little deeper to distinguish between ‘paper’ and ‘real’ farm business performance.

Murray Local Land Services is hosting a two-day Farm Business Management workshop in Holbrook.

Also suitable for new participants, these two-day workshops will help participants develop a greater and clearer understanding of farm business performance analysis using a ‘model’ farm. Day two will revolve around participants utilising their own data to develop high level financial performance indicators. A key outcome will be enabling participants to move away from the ‘tax’ mindset to a ‘management decisions’ one when thinking about farm finances.

PRESENTER

Paul Blackshaw is a farm business consultant with Meridian Agriculture in North East Victoria. Paul provides farm financial analysis, benchmarking, business performance, and succession planning
